Credit Guide
A Credit Guide tells you who we are, the services we provide, the lenders we work with, and how we are paid. We provide it as soon as it becomes apparent we are likely to give you credit assistance (under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009).

We help you find and apply for a loan that suits your needs and objectives. As mortgage brokers, we are legally required to act in your best interests when providing credit assistance. We compare options across our panel of lenders and explain the trade-offs in plain English before you proceed.
We have access to a panel of lenders. The six lenders with whom we placed the most business in the previous financial year, and the proportion of business placed with each, are listed in the version of this Credit Guide we provide to you directly, and are available on request. [Populate the top-6 list each financial year — NCCP s113(2)(f).]
In most cases there is no fee to you for our services — we are paid by the lender once your loan settles. If a fee ever applies to your situation, we will tell you about it in writing, and explain how it is calculated, before you proceed.
We may receive commissions from the lenders who provide finance for you as our customer. These are not fees payable by you. Any upfront commission that we receive from the lenders who provide finance for you as our customer is based on the loan amount drawn down by you less any loan funds deposited in your offset or redraw account. The lender may subsequently pay commissions on further funds that you draw down from the offset or redraw account. We may also receive ongoing (trail) commission for as long as your loan remains active.
Before we provide credit assistance, we will assess whether a loan is not unsuitable for you. You can ask us for a copy of that assessment at any time up to seven years afterwards, and we will provide it at no charge.
If you have a concern, please contact us first on 0480 026 588 or hello@kingdomcapital.com.au. Our full process is on our complaints page, including how to escalate to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) if needed. We are a member of AFCA (membership 123384).
